Our Whitby homeowner wanted a more open plan kitchen and one that made better use of the excellent backyard views. Our solution was to allow the island to flow with the shape of the space and to transition the island into a built in eating area that capitalized on the panoramic view of the backyard. We used Benjamin Moore “White Dove” painted custom cabinetry with the island in a complimentary “Ebony” colour. Cambria “Inverness Platinum” quartz was also used which is very unique due to its embossed surface that you can feel the veining when you run your hands across it, very cool! The end result is striking and one our homeowners will enjoy for many years to come!
